I often see that when friends offer to help with repairments around the house things go from bad to worse. And going to a specialized firm that would offer warranty for the job leaves a big hole in the budget. So ...is there a middle path?..where a handyman is really handy and does what he does for a FAIR price? Good tips would be highly appreciated. Thank you, Ioana

Can't help much here as I have always been living in a rented apartment. But I just bought a 'new' home about a month ago - so I probably would need some advice on this too down the road.
