I think the first step is to decide on what type of climate you wish to live in. eternal Spring, like Boquete and Volcan, or hot and tropical like the coastal regions. The great t hing is in either case you get inspirational views of mountains or ocean, respectively. From Connecticut I suspect the temperate Chiriqui highlands might be the ticket. 😊
