Hi,

I am interested in learning Malay.

If anyone has any teaching experience and would be able to do a couple of lessons every week please let me know.

I can't help you directly, but I may be able to offer a suggestion.

Many of the staff in Chinese take aways/restaurants look Chinese, but are from Malaysia.
They commonly work the counter because they tend to be fluent in Cantonese, mandarin, and have quite good English, so can communicate with everyone.

The upshot is, you might very well find a Malay language teacher if you ask around the Chinese community in your area.
