I need language schools addresses.

I've been hare a bit and I gotta say, no matter how I search, There's no lists, Yellow Pages or easily searchable data-base I've been able to find. I'm pretty sure such just doesn't exist. They seem to be everywhere, yet ""Ho Chi Minh" language school*" and all similar searches net almost nothing meaning the language schools I seek, because they generally serve a surrounding neighborhood, feel no need to advertise outside of it and likely rely on flyers and word-of-mouth. Sensible, but currently inconvenient for me.

Thailand had central websites and even Cambo was searchable once you found the Khmer websites.

I'm at the city's center and finding that my only real option without addresses is to canvas districts one at a time by foot, as if I'm watching traffic, I'll likely blow right by half of them. Very grueling. I'd love an easier way to do this.

It would really help if I can get names and addresses of any and all Language schools anyone might know of.

Thanks for any tips or replies.

Just ran a test using www.DuckDuckGo.Com and I found over one hundred listed.

Better try different search terms.

I have checked many of the sites that get listed. You can get all the bigger schools that way and I've got those. I'm looking for more the neighborhood townhouse language schools that dot the city. People living near or working at them will know about them.

Use this "các trung tâm anh ngữ tại tphcm" to search some English centers here.
If you can't find, I will list their address for you later.

Some English centers here: http://www.webtretho.com/forum/f76/revi … m-1773917/

Here you are: http://proguide.vn/d/trung-tam-ngoai-ngu/page1/

Exactly the kind of link I was hoping for.  3 full pages od HCM schools with contact info.

I opened it using Yandex translate. Even got a couple chuckles out of it as it translates the district names as well. Is  Quận Tân Phú really "Country New Funky"?

Thanks a load. Very appreciated. Just what I'd hoped for.

  Cheers!

Have you get the job here, Barkester?

Sorry for replying late, I don't know why I didn't know about your last post, maybe my email had problems. I've just found this topic again because someone need help to find some English centre here.

I don't know about Tân Phú District, because I've just lived here more than 6 year, and lived in District 2 for 2 years, then live in Thu Duc district until now.

Maybe someone will answer your question.

And, Barkester, if you got the job, pls share your experience for others.

Easier way than one-at-a-time translation.

   Open Yandex.com.

   Open "Translate".

Set to English to Vietnamese (All romanized languages seem to be there).

Past the URL above to the English box.

The entire website is now translated. For addresses, hold your cursor over it and a small window will show the Viet address in Viet as you won't find English translations of Viet addresses on a map. Now you can just run down the list, organise by district and go out and hit a district each day. You'll have work in a week. I've turned down 3 schools since starting where I'm at and they still call.

Last unrelated advice. Abandon Google. They have evolved into the Wallmart of net services. Every service they have has a better equivalent just as everything in Wallmart is medium to low quality and leaves you to go elsewhere if you want the good shwag. I personally like the Russian stuff (all available in English). Much less censorship and commercialism and not being used as a political tool. Stellar for torrents, mods, movies and music. Also, I noticed better searches using Linux at home than any Windows, so Windows has some kind of censorship arrangement as well blocking all kinds of handy cracks, mods and the like for Amerikan companies. Open up the whole web, not just the part Amerikan businesses wants you to.
I'm very much looking forward to Brazil's new servers and Chinas new OSs and media now in process. Huawei routers out of China is the only router I know that doesn't take the money to create back doors (like Java, Windows, Google, all Amerikan companies) so we might be monitored. Google up some options and leave Google forever. You'll be glad you did. The worlds way bigger than Google.

Good luck on you search, NOOBs. Should be real easy now.
