Indian - Woodlands (CBD), Begums (Al-Khuwair), Mumtaz Mahal (Rose Garden - Qurum)
Omani - Al Deyar, Bin Ateeq
Thai - Thai Corner (Qurum) (havent tried it, but lots of recommendations)
Expensive 
- Kargeen Cafe (Shatti al Qurum), The CAVE (Qurum heights)
