As a US citizen can anyone tell me of your work permit procedure and documents req'd in Riyadh.

If called upon to work here. You'll be required to submit the following (at least I did as a Canadian).
Health Exam
Certified Degree (from Embassy)
2 Photo ID's
Passport (duh)
I also got a report from the RCMP (I dunno who you'd go to for USA) just incase. I don't know if they needed it or not. I heard they did, so I just did it.
You may also need a letter from your US employer (Depending on your Visa).
All this will be clearer once you know if you're going or not. They'll give you a list of things to get.
If married. You'll also need to get your marriage license done at the Embassy so that when you get here, you can follow through for hers.

All of your paperwork will be done by the Embassy in Washington, D.C. You can find all of the necessary paperwork, medical forms, etc. on their website.
