Hello Everybody :)

So as to gather some information so be able to help out newcomers to London, I presently am seeking help from You expatriates.

Could you please tell us where do you usually :

1 . Have Lunch
2. Supermarket that you prefer going
3. The place where you usually buy groceries.
4. Where you like dining out?
5. Your best shopping mall

That's it and thank you for those who will give us some tips :)

Where about in London mate?

Waitrose is the best supermarket for high-quality food.

Aldi is the best for prices and economy shopping. In addition many of their products are of good quality.

As for lunch places or corner grocers, London is so vast that it's just silly to try to say this place or that place is good because unless you live nearby, you re never going to use it. Ditto for dining out, unless you want to make long journeys by Tube.

Obviously there are chains where quality is standardised all over so they can be found everywhere, but who would recommend a MacD?

Otherwise you need to split London up into boroughs and give recommendations per borough. Even so, it sometimes takes 45 minutes to get from one side to another of a borough!

Shopping malls: Westfield shepherds bush in West London , Westfield Stratford in East, Brent cross In North, and of course the ones in Oxford st
