First off I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I was planning to move to Phnom Penh and start up a business, my parents are originally from Cambodia so my visa will be no issue.

I would like to know people's experience in business abroad and the pros and cons that' comes with owning a business in Cambodia.

Also are there any safety issues when running a business foreign owned?

Any advice or insight would be appreciated thank you.

I wander why no one has responded to this very prominent question posed by this gentleman. But i must say your parents must had been away from the country quite a bit not to be able give you a bit of primary background on how things are run around here?
I guess it also has got to do what type of biz you talking.

Yes,i wonder to why nobody replied but i think it's a question for law firm.To just know exactly what can and what not.I would love to know the answer on this to.
