Hi all,
I'd love to get some ideas for a weekend or day trip from Phnom Penh. We only have Saturday and Sunday available so don't want to go farther than 2-3 hours away (so Siem Riep, Kampot and such are out this time).
Are there any boat trips that take you somewhere for an overnight trip? Cool places within a shortish drive from the city for a weekend away?
Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

You could definitely get to Sihanoukville in three hours by car (and driver). Or about 4 hours by bus (much cheaper). Lots of options once you're at the beach. Check out TravelFish.org for good info.
