Motorbike repairing shops

Hi,

I would like to introduce some motorbike shops I've visited:

1. Hieu Nghia Motor- Address: https://goo.gl/maps/5By0r
This shop fixes a lot of policemen motorbikes- the ones that we hate seeing in the streets. I saw a 700cc yellow super four there too ( what a handsome man!). I guess it also fixes scooters too. When I reached there, the boss checked my motorbike. The price is a bit more expensive than the other repairing shops but they do a well-done job. If something they can't, they will tell you directly.

2. Luong repairing shop: Address: Opposite to 697-699 3/2 street, Ward6, Dist10
This man fixes a lot of Rebel bikes and many kinds of scooters. The staffs are quiet serious. Seems they have experienced a lot so they know the disability of any bikes.
They also sell some Japanese Rebel bikes here. The price is from 40m-80m.

3. Phuong accessories: Address: Nguyen Tieu la-Nguyen Chi Thanh corner. Locating on Nguyen Tieu La street. Dist 10
I usually change my motorbike parts here. A half price comparing with Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda store. The bad thing is that they don't have good repairing men. Most of them are very young. The most experienced man there is the husband of the owner. He fixed the front break of my bike for 3 hours but I had to go to the place to fix again.

There is another good repairing shop which are managed by 2 old men near here but I forgot the name. They fixed the Starter button in 5 minutes.

4. Minh Spicy: Address: Opposite to Vietcombank Luong Dinh Cua street, district 2.
I saw it was crowded so I went there to change the oil. More expensive than the other places. But I guess it is also a good place that has many customers.

If you have any good repairing places, pls post here too. I want to make a visit.

Regards

The whole area, centred on TA UYEN and to at least the first street either side of TA UYEN between HONG BANG and NGUYEN CHI THANH is motorcycle heaven - shop after store after shop of motorcycle related parts, along with automobile and bicycle parts.

I have a friend who does wholesale work for the retail repair guys. His forte is removing studs from alloy wheels and repairing motorcycle 'big' ends, along with heavy machinery design/building/repair. He has a worker certified for boiler repairs and welding up to 3 cm thick. He uses a plasma welder.

My tires/tyres I buy wholesale on NGUYEN THI NHO then get them fitted at a place does nothing else on 3 THANG 2. They can also do vulcanizing of the treads or walls.

I use factory repair shops (no labour charges) for our Kymco's - they even have call out service at home or road side at no extra charge.

There are big engine repair shops on NGUYEN CHI THANH, the best one's owner is religious so you have to make way for his God. Mid-size repair shops are  nearby. These are between TA UYEN and NGUYEN THI NHO. Personal intro's are best, helps the stores keep work that has no challenges away.

For after market Honda repairs there is a specialist outfit on the corner of NGUYEN THI THANH and DO NGOC THANH. Hard to miss - many workers - usually out front.

I had my Kymco engine upsized and ports, etc., polished. This work is best done through specialist motorcycle retailers.

On Friday and Saturday nights (as well as the following morning) the 'racing' types meet in Quan 4 - down around KHANH HOI and TON THAT TUYET. Hard to miss - just use your ears. They know all the good places. Usual 'meet' size is around 200 machines + the CGST!

I change my own oil - let's me see what's happening inside.

Hello all

If you could recommend some services in our Automotive repair services in Vietnam it would be awesome!  :top:

Thank you

Thanks Jaitch for the information.

I have a shop which locates in Nguyen Chi Thanh street chrome some motorbike' parts but seems the price is various in this area. Sometimes I doubt if there is just 1 or 2 shops doing this and the other shops ask them to make for their customers.

The Business section is for people with a financial interest to complete.

Introduce a simple box, as used in the Message Forum, instead of multiple boxes and you have a deal!

Why duplicate all the posts? Cut down/edit quotes - it goes off the bottom of my screen!

This area is the wholesale area, where all the retail repair shops from all over the city go! Prices are better, too.

I never use Chrome - much better to use the real thing - INOX (stainless steel). Easier to work, too, just use an Argon Welder.

If you need an 'acid dip bath' cleaner for your Chrome - I have an address.

Yes,

Pls give me the address. It will be great.

I will go to buy Liqui moly in some days. I found a shop in district 11 and Tan Phu district. You know anyone selling those things in district 1 or in this Nguyen Chi Thanh area?

Thanks in advance.

Your post has been rejected by the moderator as you have posted it in the wrong section. ;)

Would you be so kind to post these information in the appropriate section which is the  business directory > https://www.expat.com/en/business/asia/vietnam/ please?

Thank you and have a nice day

The format is too complex - we just need alphabetical list, based on trade, into which we could copy and paste stuff.

The present arrangements are designed for people who pay, or want the business.

Hi Priscilla,

I agree with Jaitch. I open the link kenjee suggested and it asked me to fill in the company name while I am introducing any business here.

Actually there are many guiding posts in this site but there's no place to post it, except the forum.

I found a great shop that is big and clean. And to boot, the owner speaks English too! The guys here know there stuff!  How do I know? Cause I used to dabble in fixing cars and bikes in the States.

This place is big and also have a coffee/drink area for the customers in the front.

Whenever I ride into town I take my bike there. They work on both big bikes and small bikes.  They are on the same side of the street as you are heading to the McDonalds there at the round-about. They are by the big gas station.

It is very new motorbike shop right? I just checked the information. 2 week age!

Wonder if they fix scooters too?
.. and if this shop has any relationship with another motorbike repairing shop near there. That repairing shop's owner can speak English well and has many expats visiting him everyday. I went there and he checked my bike for 1/2 hour. I thought they were good so I went shopping and nothing changed in my bike. The price also was expensive cos they can speak English.

Yes that is the place. They just had their grand opening a few weeks ago. I was there about a month ago when I was on one of my travels and stopped by to get some work and maintence done. One of the owners worked at the Ducati dealer service center so I recognized him from there.

A few of my friends who are into the bike scene told me about this place. I stayed there to see them work on my bike so I'm confident in their work and expertise....
