I got a job assignment in Krakow,Poland for long term.I know very little about poland .My expected salary is around 9k/per month .
I am bachelor and going alone to Krakow .I am currently staying in Singapore .
Could someone please assist me on below queries ?
1) Cost of living in Krakow
2)Weather and safety in krakow
3)Is my salary sufficient to live in krakow ? How much money I can save after a standard expenditure (Any aprox idea )
4)Any valuable tips/prerequisites
5) Is there any website where I can search room/flat for rent? I ll be going there in end of Oct .

Krakow is a beautiful city. Polish people are most helpful amongst all others.
1. cost of living is cheap as compared to other European countries. 9k is more than enough.
2. Weather is awesome. City is mostly safe.
3. ref point 1. Saving is completely personal choice and depends on your style of living.
4. If u are vegetarian then i think it will be bit difficult to adjust. If not then you are ready for a treat.
try to learn a bit of polish. It will help u a lot.
5. yes there are many. But my suggestion will be to search apartments which are directly advertised by flat owner.

9k PLN ? Euro ?
on both case its more than enough to live in krakow... you can get a wonderful apartment for 2000 pln, you can go everyday to the restaurant and enjoy the life here
