it would be helpful if you specify what kind of environment you want. You can buy houses in Detroit for the price of a month's rent in San Francisco. Do you want a house, an apartment, warm climate, cold climate, rural, urban?

I prefer a house with parking place than apt even a small house, and of course not in urban it'd be nice to locate near coast or in coastal city where I can find a good neighborhood.
