Hello Aussies,
I am an australian citizen living overseas, and lately I have been trying to apply for a TFN (Tax File Number) while being overseas. I have contacted the Australian taxation office several times to ask for the procedure since i cant attend an interview, but those guys know nothing.
If anyone around has an idea of how can this be done from overseas, i would really appreciate it.
Note: I want my TFN to apply for a FEE-HELP Loan for studying.

Unless you are working back in Australia and paying tax you will not get a TFN.

You cannot apply for a help loan whilst overseas.
