Hi!
Ive been in melbourne/ mornington peninsula for 3 years now. When i came over to australia first, it wasnt a priority fir me to meet other south africans here. I felt that that would just create a mini south africa in melbourne for me. As time went by, i realized how much i miss speaking and socialising in my first language. And thats why i joined this website.

Me and my family is planning in moving to Melbourne, Australia. No formal arrangements done yet though. There is a possibility that my husband will be able to move through his company to Melbourne, like in being transferred there. I just need some info wrt the way of life there as an immigrant or South African, will we be able to safe up money to visit family in SA occasionally etc. My husband would like to know if we will be better of in Aus financially or not? We are financially secure in the RSA, but are tired of the crime, corruption, stress etc. r
