IS IT OK TO CARRY SOME INDIAN SPICES FROM INDIA TO DALIAN

     I would not suggest that you carry a lot of spices with you although it is allowed but they can confiscate it at airport security if they want to and also for 15 months you can not bring enough.  Food is good here you will just need to find the places you like. I have been to one market where i saw spices similar to what we get at home. I just don't remember the name for it. I will suggest come and enjoy the local delicacies. Don't worry i always tell my friends there are more chinese people then indian they must be eating something good

dont worry... you can get most of the basic spices in some shops (there is one near Wanda plaza) and also you can order online through taobao

Hi, U need to carry some spices and pulses(except Moong and raajma) .Althrough spices are available here at some places bt may be difficult for u to find since u r coming for short duration.In Metro supermarket u can find them .
Vegetables and fruits are available here so not a problem

Welcome to China! Dalian is a very beautiful beach city.
I stayed in India for 4 years, last year i cam back to Shenzhen.
Indian spices and masalas are available in some cities where many Indians reside, like Shenzhen, Guangzhou,Hongkong, Ningbo, Shanghai and Beijing.
In Dalian, you may be able to find them in some selected shops or supermarkets like Walmart.
Plus, you can get the spices in any Indian restaurants in China. In any major city,you will be able to find an Indian restaurant.
All been said,if you can carry a suitcase full of indian spices and food, that will be enough for a long time.
No problem with Chinese Customs.

you dont have to carry ny masala
everything is available all garam masals

what u dont get here is
mustard seeds( rai) methi ( fenugreek seeds) ajwain...so i u use them  alot then get it
you get nice fresh veg here
and if u eat non veg than no prob
get achar , papad if u want and u use it a lot
instead o fbasmati rice u can use thai rice
u wont get ny daal ( lentils) so if u eat then bring
u dont get here chana ( red or white) but u get rajmah  white matar green moong

just come and enjoy
