Welcome to Austria, I see your an American? I myself is from from the UK, so I know what it is like moving to another country that uses another lanuage other than English. lol
Although I am not in Salzburg I can give you a few tips in living here to make it more enjoyable for you and your boyfriend. BTW the wife is Austrian, and I have lived here (Austria) for over 5 years......
