Hello
What is the procedure for converting an EU country license to one for Bahrain. Do I need to be physically in the country to do this? Can my husband process any papers on my behalf as soon as he arrives in the country (which will be before me). I would like to be mobile as soon as I land in Bahrain.

There is no rush to do this and yes you need to be here. An eye test is required. You can get a hire car on your EU licence and use it for up to a year ( I know friends who are still on their UK licence after 2 years here)
Don't worry, the whole process has already been posted on here a number of times for you but it takes about 40mins. .
