Hi fellow-expats!
In the winter months I am planning to go ski-ing in Bariloche, but I also wanted to work a bit on my Spanish in the mean time. I found a nice looking school, where they also teach spanish for beginners (lamontana.com/spanish-courses). Does anyone know if the accent is different in Bariloche, and has anyone got some experiences with learning Spanish there?

Spanish in Bariloche is easier to understand than other parts of Argentina, IMO.

hello, the accent in Bariloche is similar as Buenos Aires. I work at (moderated: no ads), this site is a search of the best stores, schools, pubs... in Bariloche. I know the only accredited school is Patagonia School, see: patagoniaschool.com and they offer a special program of ski and spanish. This school is recognized by Migrations department and gov. tourist secretary. Good luck in your trip!
