I have just started working as an expat in Kuwait.
I am looking to buy a new car with which I can cross regularly the Kuwait Border (to Saudi and Bahrain). Normally the car will be registered under my company, however I understood it would be difficult to get the necessary approval to cross regularly the Kuwait border.
Can anyone recommend a car company and/or insurance company who can arrange the necessary papers to cross the border? Or what is the recommended protocol to follow to get the approval paper?

I think your nationality matters a lot as well. Last I heard was that Saudi have stopped issuing transit visas to foreigners, but that could have changed at any time.

Better to check the Saudi Embassy first, rules keep changing. if it is ok all what you need is around 10KD paper from tryptic office here or something like that plus of course car insurance.
