Hello,

is there anyone having experience to bring their own Au pair into China.
We have a lovely lady from Kenia and really like her. We might move very soon to Bejing and would like to take her with us. Does anyone know how to do this?

I think people can go into China on Tourist Visa for 60 days and then evtlk prolong for 120 days - has anyone done that already?

There is also an option 90-180 but have no idea how that works either.

Ideally I would like her to officially work for us.

So if anyone of you know how to do it your advise will be very much appreciated.

Hi There,

Yes, you can bring your Au pair here in china on a tourist visa. After, you can just extend her visa. Unfortunately, Au pair of other nationality aside from locals is not open when you applied her visa as her working for you. You need to apply a different visa for her to make it a year or even longer. You can check around when you're here already. Or perhaps your company if your working or your husband company can help you with this.

There's a lot of possibilities! don't worry. If you like her to come, can always bring her with you and just deal with all the financial aspect of it. There's a lot of agencies in here as well that can help you with her visa later.
