hi Sree, there are many sites you can go in Shanghai, such as the bund, where you can take a stroll and see the view of Huangpu River; the Nanjing road, where you can go shopping; the Oriental Pearl TV Tower where you can have a bird's eye view of the Shanghai city; Yuyuan Garden, a place of traditional Chinese garden and architectural feature; etc. I think you can take about 2 days to visit Shanghai and if you have spare time, take one day to Suzhou, which is famous for its Chinese classic gardens. It will take you half an hour from Shanghai to Suzhou by bullet train.
