Accountant profession on Iqama possible with only CIMA?

Hey all

I have done CIMA from London and finished upto the Strategic level. I do not posses a degree at the moment but am underway to complete one through correspondence. I have recently been offered a position of cost accountant, but am unsure as to whether I can get the profession of Cost Accountant on my Iqama. I have heard only 3-4 year degrees are accepted in Saudi Arabia and certifications (professional certifications like CIMA included) and correspondence degrees are not accepted for white collar jobs.

Is that true?

That is true to some extent. Without a degree i don't know how you cab get a visa to work, Do you have any other education you have completed?

Not really, currently just reached half way to finish a correspondence BA degree in Sustainable performance management from Manchester, but apparently if the name does not consist "accounting" then they do not accept it for accounting.

Its good to hear that and how much they will pay you as a cost accountant?
