Malaysia visa question

hi Peter. it is my understanding that you will LIVE permanently in Malaysia?

if Malaysia visa application is like that of neighbouring Brunei then try this.  ASK around first. otherwise, forget what i've written below.

try applying for a visit pass. usually they give 3 mths (u can renew 2-3 times, that's almost a year. sometimes u need the person to exit. so go across the border to thailand or singapore for a day. sometimes they need to see that the person exited the country before they will renew) at the most.

when u enter sometimes they will just give u a week or a few days then u have to go to the immigration dept. and that's the time they will stamp the 90 days.

other times, once approved, they will fax the visa to the Embassy of Malaysia in Manila. ask your gf to go there and have her passport stamped with an entry visa. 

then she can join u longer than 30 days.
