Best western compound

This is advertising.
Al Nakhela is the worst compound in all Saudi Arabia

I think if I was starting again I'd probably avoid the compounds for now.

Most are either not quite western i.e. "western passport holders" or they're breaking what were family homes into 1 bedroom apartments for single men.

Best advice may be to decide what school to send your child to and see where most of the kids live. The expat landscape and the number of families are changing.

From a security perspective no compounds are beyond the reach of the MOI, a few have been entered in the past year, some have lost the national guard and one has even been told to remove its extra perimier walls.

Which ones are good then?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone know any western compounds somewhere near Dirab.
Or anywhere 30-40mins drive is alright too.
We are looking for a 1-2bedroom villa. 80k sar maximum budget.
Can anyone please give a recommendation please.
