Is it difficult to rent a room with a dog?

Hi all,
I would like to know if it is difficult to rent a room with a dog. I work near Silema and knew it was quite expensive to rent a room there, So i will consider other area, just make sure I can keep my dog. Any suggestion?
Besides, what is the average rent here?

Hi Sam,

are you looking for a room or an appartment? Either way it might not be that easy and if you are looking for a flat share room my guess is that it could be impossible to keep a dog. Are you already in Malta with the dog?

Average rent in Sliema? It depends what you are looking for. 1 room appartments start at 350-450 €.

In my experience most landlords prefer cash.........badum tish
