Shwee. Oddly enough, you've come to the right place! I love Asian food too and Prenzlauer Ber (particularly), has the most amazing Asian restaurants.... and cheap too!
Check out Ha Long Bay (Schönhauser Allee), Van Hoa, No.1 Sushi, Mai Thai Snack (Stargarder Str.).
They're superb!!
