GEMS Academy or American Community School

My family and I are thinking of relocating from the U.S. to Abu Dhabi.  We have two sons in elementary and a daughter in preK.  Any advice on schools?  I see there are two American schools.  Which is better and why?  Any feedback is appreciated.

There's also American International School AISA, Al Raha International (RIS), and the Canadian International school CIS (Canadian curriculum). Check out the website of each school to learn more about them.

I like CIS, RIS, and ACS (American Community)

CIS: amazing for primary + reasonable fees
RIS: IB program + expensive
ACS: IB program + very expensive

Why Not:

AISA: Old building + Segregated
GEMS: Located in the down town + Up to grade 7

Good Luck

Honestly, GEMS and ACS-AD are both great schools. While people may debate which one is better, most people would agree they both are among the best schools in Abu Dhabi, and certainly the top 2 American curriculum based schools in AD.

If you can get your kids into either school, consider yourself lucky. While there other good American schools in AD, such as those listed above, GEMS and ACS-AD are the 2 you should be aiming for, and making a priority for your kids to get into.
