You would be more happier if you were.

Developed country : government sector pays decent amount
Turkeylike country : this sector grants you a lot, better insurance, more money, tax discounts etc etc.

Masters electronics & communication engineering student at Istanbul sehir university ,I am from Egypt and needs to explore Istanbul and learn Turkish and make Friends  :)  . I speak only English and Arabic ..

HI all.

I'm Brazilian but currently I live in Cairo, Egypt.

I speak Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Newbie on the Turkey forum? Don't know how to start?

This thread is for you ;)

We invite you to introduce yourself on this topic, to share with us your expat story if you are already living in the country, or to tell us more on your expat projects in Turkey if you are planning to move there.

It will enable us to help you better but above all to wish you a warm welcome.

Welcome on board!

Hi, as i have recently joined this forum, therefore there are so many questions in my mind which needs to be answered, i ll appreciate if you could help me in this regard.

First of all let me introduce myself, i live in Pakistan and i am not expat. I have done MBA Finance, presently i am Corporate  & Investment Banker in one of the leading banks of Pakistan. I have gained 5 years experienced in Project & Syndicate financing.

I am planning to move abroad for jobs in relevant field , for this matter i need your help and proper guidance so that i can make my mind and start proper planning in this context.

Following are my concerns:-

1) what is the procedure of getting jobs in Turkey?
2) is there any employment opportunity available? if yes then which industry is in need of workers\employees?
3) how can i apply for jobs (please explain in detail)
4) is work permit easily obtainable and what is the procedure of the same?
5) what is the official language of Turkey?
6) is turkish language mandatory?
7) please share  any other information if you feel that is necessary to be shared

I ll appreciate your prompt response in this matter.

Thanks in anticipation

Best Regards,

Sabeen Shah
