Hi all,
I have just been offered a position in Doha with QAR 35,000 being the take home salary + flight allowance. I want to know whether the money is enough to live comfortably ?
can anybody provide me a rough breakdown of expenses in relation to the house rent, utilities, cars,etc

A bit of background about me, I was born in the UK but did most of my education in France. I have 17 years of working experience.
Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Hello

here is the breakup

Villa / 3 bed room apartment 11,000 to 13,000 QR monthly in good locality
Gas expenses - 200 QR ( really cheap about 1US$/5) considering you have a 4x4 large size SUV toyota prado etc and drive quite a bit
utilities - 350QR montly for electricity and water ( considering you have 3 to 4 air conditioner running 24x7 and other appliances running as well )
internet - 250QR monthy add extra 100QR if you have additional channel subscriptions
School fees - very expensive ( make sure the company reimburses you )

Good if you get a company provided accomodation
