New members of the Netherlands forum, introduce yourself here

Hi all,

Newbie on the Netherlands forum? Don't know how to start?

This thread is for you ;)

We invite you to introduce yourself on this topic, to share with us your expat story if you are already living in the country, or to tell us more on your expat projects in the Netherlands if you are planning to move there.

It will enable us to help you better but above all to wish you a warm welcome.

Welcome on board!

Been living in The Netherlands in a small beach village for about a year now. In the next week though, I am moving to the big bad city of Rotterdam and am so very excited to meet other expats. Currently, I am definitely the novelty American amongst my Dutchie friends and being Puerto Rican, I'm definitely the darkest person in my village. lol

I own an Internet Marketing business and am looking forward to networking and meeting both new clients and other affiliates that I can help and vice versa. While living in Orlando, I was the social butterfly and the past year has really put me in a small shell. Can't wait to once again expand my wings and meet new interesting people from around the world.

My hobby/side business is travel blogging. I have only been to 7% of the world so I have lots of traveling to do but love to inspire others to step outside of their box. Message me or find me on Facebook and let's meetup for a virtual coffee. :)

Well Natalie,

Welcome on board on this site and what a lovely introduction.

I have been living in The Hague since August 2013. I was born in (Czecho)Slovakia and spent big part of my life living in Prague. I work for US company as an EMEA Account manager and I'm the only employee based in Europe. Working from home and travelling a lot makes my life sometime very unbalanced. But I like it that way. I love to meet new people and I love to share live experience with other people.

Welcome Diderko and thanks for your introduction. How does it feel to know that you are the only one who is based in Europe?
And whi in the Netherlands?

Hi Natalie,

Welcome on board to this site and welcome in the Netherlands.

Success with your job interview.

thank you very much :)

Hello everyone,

My name is Daniel and I'm 22 years old. Moved to the Hague last week to do an internship. I recently finished my studies in Stockholm, Sweden, and now I want some work experience. Last year I lived and studied in Düsseldorf, Germany, during my last semester at uni.
I love sports of all kind, and I played ice hockey back in Sweden, unfortunately though the Netherlands isn't a big ice hockey nation :P I also like history, traveling and meeting new people. If someone is interested in meeting up for a beer or a coffee, let me now. I haven't really figured this city out, so could use some help where to go and not to go :)

See you soon,
Dani
