Planning to move to Malta

Hi,

I'm from Non EU country (Pakistan) and married to a UK citizen. We are planning to move to Malta but we can't find much information about this.

My British Partner wants to study Bachelors in Malta (Full time 4 Years) and while she's there I want to accompany her but as a non EU I don't know what documents will be required and also how long will that process takes and how much will it cost.

Hi Asjad,

the documents you need depend on where you both are living at the moment. If it is Pakistan then you will have to apply for a visa for the first trip into the Schengen area whether with or without your wife.

In Malta your wife has to apply for residency for herself and you as a family member. It comes with the usual requirement of enough income and adequate health insurance.
