HI everyone, hope you are all well,

i was just wondering if anyone can advise me on what i would need to do to bring a car in the UK over to Malta,

i have a car which is registered to me and has been for the last 2 and a half years in the UK, and was wondering what i would need to do to bring it over here so my questions are

Does it matter that i have been living in malta for the past 9 months?
what documents would i need to produce?
is there anything that i would need to do with transport malta before i bring the car?
am i eligible for the tax exemption?

just want to make sure i cover everything so no nasty surprises await when i get it here lol

There is nothing to stop you bringing the car to Malta and getting Maltese registration.
Will you be able to get exemption?
The answer is probably no, as you have to prove that both you and the vehicle that you own have been outside of Malta for a least the previous two years PRIOR to starting the registration process.
