Well I have been here 3 weeks now and I can imagine living the rest of my life here! I am loving everything about it....the old, the new....the history....the smells....the food.....the people....the language (can't even say a full sentence yet but I intend to sing in this language one day - at least one real Turkish song! ha ha)
Istanbul for me feels like the whole world in one small place! I sound like this is the first time I have travelled but in truth I am an old traveller and have been to every continent so far.
I am in love....yes....with a place named Istanbul....I hope my memories will alway be good and filled with unforgetable experiences. I know it is still early days.....but I have faith that I have found a treasure. I am exploring it!
