HI there,
I am a 41 year old man from San Francisco, California. I am a U.S Citizen, and have over 18 years of professional experience working for some of the major Silicon Valley Hi-tech firms. Although I have a professional proven track record, I do not have a college degree. During my tenure, some of the positions I've held were: Tech Support Manager, IT Project Manager, IT Integration Manager, SAP Sr. Business Analyst.
I am looking for a good paying job in Dubai and simply don't know where to start. I am going to Dubai in end of January for two weeks to do some preliminary research and I am looking for some guidance. My current resume is IT oriented and based on my experience, I can tailor it towards the market demand. My concern is, can I still get a good salary without having a college degree? It is not an issue here in U.S, I earn $150,000 yearly as an independent IT Consultant here in U.S but then 42% goes towards Taxes :-). Of course I am looking for a better package in Dubai.
I would appreciate any guidance as to how should I proceed .
Thanks,
Ed Hasan
