                      MAJOR PROJECTS

2001:  Superintendent for Ray Wilson Company.  Scheduled and
participated in buy out of subcontracts for the construction of a four level, subterranean parking structure with three levels of retail space above.  Project was located in the business district of Beverly Hills and was owned by the City of Beverly Hills.  Ray Wilson Company ceased all general contracting activity and returned the project, un-started, to the City of Beverly Hills. Contract amount was $23 million.

2000-2001:  Superintendent for Peck/Jones Construction assigned
to tenant improvements/new construction at LAX, Terminal 4 American Airlines, Oaks Christian High School of Thousand Oaks and the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Contract amounts respectively were LAX $300 million; Oaks Christian $12 million, Galleria $100 million.

1997-2000:  Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager for Swinerton & Walberg Co in Tucson, Arizona and at the SOKA University project in Orange County, CALIF.  Projects included Special Procedure Labs at the University of AZ. Hospital, Mansfield Public Park for the City of Tucson, White Sox and Diamondback Spring Training Facilities for the County of Pima, Az. Contract amounts: SOKA, $200 million, U of AZ $2 million; Mansfield, $6 million, Training Facilities, $30 million.

1995-1997: Superintendent for Cal-Pac Construction.  Assigned to the Oxnard Community College Expansion project.  This involved four new buildings totaling 33,000 s.f. of masonry and steel structures housing science labs, class rooms and administrative offices.  This project involved a very shallow water table and significant extra costs.  Contract amount was $6 million.

1994-1995:  Superintendent for Mercer Construction.  Assigned to the Camarillo Factory Outlet Center project.  The project involved the fast track construction of 22 acres of retail sales space.  Construction was conventional wood-stucco.  Significant sub-soil conditions were a major obstacle.  Contract amount was $15 million.

1994:  During early 1994 I was employed for short periods by both BFI Constructors and W.E. O'Neil Construction as a Superintendent erecting electric fences around five California State Penitentiaries and the Magic Johnson Theater project respectively.  Contract amounts were: Electric fences $15 million; the Theater $7 million.

1993:  Superintendent for HMH Construction of Camarillo, CA.  Assigned to the remodel and addition of the Salvation Army Transitional Housing of Ventura.  Contract amount: $600 thousand.

1989-1990:  Project Manager for Waste Management of Calif.  I was assigned to the expansion of the Simi Valley Landfill.  The project involved design, budget, consultant selection, construction management.  My responsibilities also included issue of all subcontracts. Contracts totaled $23 million.

1987-1988:  Public Works Agency Engineer's Representative.  Working through BTC Labs of Ventura I was assigned to the City of Simi Valley to over see 12 million cubic yards of earth work, building roads and pads, including drainage systems and to the City of Thousand Oaks over seeing the construction of more than one mile of four lane divided inter-city thoroughfare. Contract amounts respectively were $12 million and $4 million.

1986-1987:  Superintendent and Estimator for GRD Construction of Ventura.  Major projects included an environmental storage building and the rehabilitation of an ornate Catholic Seminary.  Estimated several other projects and worked in design concepts with the architectual division on other projects as well.  Contract amounts exceeded $15 million.

1985:  On-site Project Manager and Assistant Superintendent for HMH Construction of Camarillo.  Assigned to the Santa Maria Hilton Hotel project.  This project involved the construction of a 200 room, four story, masonry and precast concrete plank structure.  Contract amount was $15 million.

1983-1984:  Project Manager and Public Works Liaison for capitol improvements to Ventura County Parks, Harbor and Airports. Contract amounts exceeded $25 million.

1976-1977:  Project Manager for Director's Securities of Santa Barbara.  In the role of partner I managed sales, customer qualification and construction for residences financed via the USDA/FmHA.  Contract amounts: $2 million.

1974-1975:  Cost Accountant for the Austin Company; Process Division of Des Plaines, Illinois.
