What I steps does one need to take to transfer from one school in china to another? Important documents, cancelling a visa in one city and transferring it over to another, ect. Any advice from someone who has experienced this would be appreciated

You should wait till your next employer requests the old visa be cancelled. Often a new employer will wait till your old visa is ready to expire before going through the process of getting you a visa.
