Suggest you spell and grammar check your CV. If your family can get you some sort of visa (?) employers will be confused as foreigners' employment passes are linked to a specific job and company.

It would be good to say in what job group(s) you are looking for work e.g. customer service, HR, oracle programmer, etc.

I know that American Express are hiring, but to be honest, you are a little old for call centre work here, as it is usually freshmen and 2nd jobbers that are hired, especially if they have language skills such as Japanese, Korean, etc.

Your best opportunity may lie in the IT area as foreign knowledge workers are being hired. Most other sectors are dealing with graduate unemployment, so Malaysians will have priority.

MSC companies are probably about the only ones that may look overseas for specialist staff. Concentrate of finding who they are.  A company has to have a certain level of capital before they can hire foreigners.

If you apply for any jobs, ensure that you tweak your CV to address the skills the company is specifically looking for.  There is no such thing as a "cover-all" resume.

Bear in mind that a foreigner has to have a salary of RM5k per month or more, to be eligible for an employment pass.

Hi Sara,
