Thinking about moving to Mauritius

Hi, I currently live in Scotland with my wife. We are looking for a new country to start a new life with a warm climate. Mauritius seems to tick all the boxes.
I am currently employed as an Electronics Engineer reparing Plasma,LCD,LED,CRT TVS also Microwaves etc. What is the job prospects for an engineer over there? Do you know any repair outlets that I could contact?
We are visiting Mauritius on the 15th June until the 30th June 2010 any help would be grateful.

Hi George,
I suggest you look for both options, one is finding a job that can give you MUR 75000 or try your chances as self employed.
