Sorry but with so many easily available via a search by Google then I think you should look around yourself, there are many available, though we would not know what is available where you are.
Also you do not say what information about Malta.
Archaeology? Economics? Geology? etc. etc.

I'm looking for something like a pocket guide or even gazette form where there is do's and dont's about the Maltese life in general or like dilemma people face in daily life.
Maybe there is no such publication, unfortunately.

The problem with books like that is that they generally become out of date the minute they are published and some of the 'facts' they quote become incorrect. Just by looking on this forum you would have seen how many different ways there are of doing things and how the 'rules' change
Also, what suits one person may not suit another and if one follows some one else's 'rules' you may miss out on a lot of fun finding out
