my friend need to change his name in his iqama. his father's middle name is written with word 'M' instead of the whole nae 'Mohammad'. Now my friend get difficulty in banks because of this name with abbreviation. can he change his name in his iqama? what is the process to change his name in saudi iqama?

hi! His name can be amended in the but he needs to bring the passport which was used to enter KSA.
* He can use the service of Muakib "معكب" of his company
OR
* He can take permission from his company and use the service of some agent.

No bank will open an account until and unless English and Arabic names written in iqama are exactly the same.
Funny that all iqamas are from Ministry of Interior and bank are saying these instructions are from Ministry of Interior.

In my ID/ Iqama, the name in English is perfect but the one in Arabic is incorrect. My company does not have a muaqqib or agent for now. I need to get this problem solved ASAP. Please suggest or advise me on how to go through this. I have heard that this service is actually free but i am willing to pay 300-400 if someone agrees to do this within 2-3 days.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
