Yes its possible to get a furnished apartment for a short lease based on a daily/weekly rate. I cannot recommend certain place though, but if you drive around you will come across many of them.

Today I have seen one of those places called "Arabian Palms Hotel Apartments" its located behind Ibis Hotel in Al Khwair, you may check with them about availability and prices.
