There is a new FACEBOOK group for all english speaking ex-pats living in Poitou-Charentes, SW France

called "Amis Britanniques de la Charente " is has been set up with the cooperation of the Chambre de Commerce in Angouleme to help better communications between French local Businesses and the British Community.

French Companies are posting product news, special offers, discount vouchers etc ... available to members of the Group .. and of course it's totally free to join ! !

Thanks for that link - I have joined and invited to others to do likewise.
There seems to be a sharp increase in networking in the area in recent months. All for the good I think
