GENERAL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
COMPANY: International Shipping Company (headquarters in Singapore)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To develop business expansion plans, formulate budgets and define business targets
2. To ensure principal and agency are able to reach out to possible market areas and has reasonable budgets to achieve set targets
3. To review and improve business processes
4. To ensure that proper systems are in place for monitoring and reporting
5. To manage effectively cash flows
6. To ensure the financial stability of the company

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must hold a Bachelor of Masters degree
2. Minimum 10-15 years experience in reputed container line/ shipping industry
3. Served at least 5 years as PIC of a location
4. Has a dynamic personality and good communication skills
5. Possesses zeal to achieve targets and to ensure that proper controls and systems.
