Hello forum,

I'm moving to Sydney in June and will be looking for a place for myself, my wife and two sons. We'll be staying semi-permanently, on a work 457 visa, and we'll just be diving in.

I'm wondering: 1.) if anyone has experience at the branch for HSBC in Sydney and if their customer service is good. It looks to me like you can open up accounts there before arriving in Australia. However, as always, you can never know how customer service is until you get there. 2.) those of you who work there, what "supermannuation" scheme have you worked out?

We've been happy with ANZ. I don't have the Super account there, however. The employer had something set up so we just used that. We lived in Australia from Nov 08 to July 09 and returning in the next couple of months - as soon as the house sells.
