The "house number" is 625D and the Street is CMT8 which is a shortcut version for "Cách mạng tháng Tám" (Tám = 8).  Many streets in Việt Nam are named after important dates.  So the CMT8 means the August Revolution...essentially the rebellion against French Rule.

Here's the history on it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_Revolution

The problem with the address tanthoi just wrote (besides not writing it the street long-hand) is it lacks a District and a Ward.  Unlike in the West where following the numbering sequence is logical, the street numbers (and sometimes the street name itself) here in Việt Nam often reset once you pass from one ward into another.  Also the right side maybe have even numbers and the left may have odd numbering, but they're not in sync .i.e....  You'd think if you look on your right, you'd see 24, 26, 28 and expect on your left to be 23, 25, 27 but NO!  It's like 79, 81, 83.  On top of that, if a address is somewhere in an alley behind it, the number is 79/1, 79/24.

I've spent alot of gas and am a Master of U-Turns in gaining this knowledge so I pass it on to you for free, young Apprentice.:P

Back to helping you with this address.  Much of the addressing requires you to ask a local.  They're not logical enough for you to self find a place on your own.  So you just have to find the street first, and follow it up and down until you find the address number...then when you get fed up, you ask a street vendor where ABC Evangelical Church is.

From the map of HCMC, Cách mạng Tháng Tám Street is a major road that runs NW to SE across Tân Bình District and District 3.  Good luck finding it.

Welcome you to The Well in district 4. Google The Well and you will find where it is. We are bible believing and the pastor is Canadian. We all speak English.

Can anybody from Every Nation send me their current meeting address? I am staying here in Vietnam for another 15 days and I want to attend the gathering... I tried looking for 2 Sundays already without success. You may contact me at 01265220593

Thanks a lot, Jaitch. Your answer is very comprehensive. Have great day!

Even registered churches get worked over by Internal Police - https://www.mwc-cmm.org/content/police- … ng-vietnam

One poster has noted - there are some who dislike this church, suggesting there may be unreasonable attempt to get money from its people.
There seems to be some confusion on those Christian forums as to if this is the correct church (perhaps two organisations with similar names), and these are just the opinions of posters on a forum.
Saying that, if the topic of money comes up too much, it never hurts to check out other people's experiences.

They don't so much dislike a church as much as the genre of the 'new churches'. When you get to see the poorest of people, who barely have enough to survive, scraping money together to give to a movement, you have to wonder where a churches heart really is.

I 'witnessed' all the fallacies spread by Jim and Tammy Bakker - PTL - Pass the Loot Club, Orville Roberts - send me money or I will fast to death; Swaggart, Falwell, Kenneth Hagin, the Glass Cathedral - all courtesy of USD$100/hour TV channel rental.

I'm agnostic but I do have good databases.

There's still plenty of money swilling around. The Philippines is still home to some of the most powerful MEDIUM WAVE transmitters in the world that target VietNam and China with religious stuff. But tell me, when did you last see a  MEDIUM WAVE receiver used in VietNam?

I am attending a baptist church here at Pham Mu Lao at district 1. We have every sunday worship service 10-1 pm
Let me know if you are interested.

God bless

read, Mark 12 ; 41-44. there is little to be gained by giving to the point where the giver becomes one of the poor, some "Churches" claim " by giving your place in heaven is assured" not so , nor by works, it is by God's grace and what Christ did for us and your confession of that !!
