Even your multiple answer numbering is opening to errors.

Thanks Khanh44, solo1 for your opinion here!

Hi hELLnoi, thanks for your tip for the numbering.. I just corrected it :)
Well..it is not that taxi example is not understandable but there are many occasions, during life and travel in Vietnam, that can be challenging, annoying or some kind of pain points, I believe. But I am not sure yet whether it is only very few foreigner's thought..really curious how other expats think..let's see :o

Btw, hELLnoi..what is your answers to those two questions?

I don't have any issues.
I call a Vietnamese and use the speaker to talk to my Vietnamese friend to translate what I want to do or where I want to go.
I understand the poor training the front desk is so I often ask to speak with the manager and be sure they understand English.
I still do not trust that they understand English. I do the above, call a Vietnamese. Then I ask the manager to tell me what I want before he instructs his staff.
Welcome to Vietnam. I can swear Murphy was part Vietnamese

Anyone else?

1.  E.  I struggle all the time.  Sense and sensibility are still lagging.

2.  A.  I would love to have a hot line that can help me sort out this 19th century Vietnam.
