Confusing fee structure for Indian School

Hello there,

I will be moving with my wife and 2.8yr old daughter. I was browsing schools in Oman when I came across this school website for Indian School.

The fee structure is bit confusing. At one point is following

Admission fee:         R.O. 10.000
K.G. I       :         R.O. 31.000 per month

the rest is at this following website.

Now the question which is bugging me is, R.O. 10.000 means 10 Oman Riyal or 10,000 Oman Riyal. You might think me for a stupid, I'm sorry but British and American Schools has 3000 OMR as the fee. I was just wondering,

Does Indian School has good reputation and value ? Please respond me as I'm bit worried about my toddler.

Thanks in Advance.

Kind Regards,
Shoyeb

Hi,

I am pretty sure 10.000 means 10 Omani Rials..... they cant be charging 10,000 Omani Rials for an Admission.

If they started charging 31,000 OMR as a monthly fee for KG classes, they wouldn't be able to get a handful of children.

Indian schools are cheaper than American and private schools, I think its got to do with the size of the classroom and the total volume of students.

I can't see any drop in quality of education, there are tonnes of Indian students doing pretty well round the globe...

Thanks,

Rammy
