GPS

Let's have fun... :-)

I'm located at
latitude: 45° 32'
longitude: -73° 32'

What about you? :)

I'd like to buy a GPS...

Olivier

Is there a website that gives your position?

Of course there's one, and even several... Try this one http://geourl.org/
Just register, then by clicking on the link you'll put in your template, you'll find all the people (having web pages, sites, blogs...) located around you... that's funny :-)))
Have a try on my blog (again) for example...

www.maporama.com (free)

I am exactly here:
Latitude-Longitude:
40° 25' , -3° 40'
40.432 , -3.668

What could be funny would be to calculate what is the opposite position on the globe ... Let's see for Madrid, the opposite side of the planet is ... in New Zealand ;)

Funny to realise that Montreal and Lyons have the same latitude. Montreal seems so north !

Anyway I'm exactly here :

Latitude- 59° 25'
Longitude - 10° 29'

True!
That's why it's so hard to live for the winter! Days are longer here than in Paris!
On the other hand, they are shorter for the summer. You can't get everything!

Where is the northest point you've been? :P

O.

Good question !

So the northest point I've ever been it's Kristiansund :

Latitude  - 63° 6'
Longitude - 7° 43'

And in a month I will be here : Tromsø

Latitude - 69° 39' (up the polar circle)
Longitude - 18° 57'

and perhaps Hammerfest :

Latitude - 70° 40'
Longitude - 23° 39'

You ? And the more south ?

My northest place was Eureka, in the Nunavut, Canada. I can not find the longitude and latitude (such a small place) but you can find out where it is on the adress
http://weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/forecast/ … html?id=NU
I think it is around 80 North, I was there when I worked on a ship...
