Ahmedabad -Best city to live in India.

I was born and brought up in Ahmedabad.Ahmedabad is a great city to live in.Majority of the city comprises of Gujarati People.During the British Rule the city was known as "Manchester of India" due to the Cloth and Fabric Industries heavily settled here.The name Ahmedabad was given in the honor of 15th century ruler Sultan Ahmed Shah.

For a tourist the following places are must see if you visit Ahmedabad.

1) Siddi Sayyed Mosque( near Lal Darwaja) and also have a cup of tea amongst the graves in Lucky Tea Restaurant located exactly opposite to it.)

2)Kankaria Lake: The ultimate place for locals on holiday.You will find a animal Zoo,Balvatika nearby.

3)Jhulta Minar :(The hanging Minarets) Located near the city railway station now closed due to increase in number of Suicides from it.It is still a mystery to the archeologists and scientists that how did the whole structure swing?
