Hi fff

Welcome to Expat.com

Maybe you could tell us something about yourself by way of introduction.

Your name would be a good start ;)

Jakarta is a great town I hope you enjoy your time here

I'm simple and open minded guy, 28 years old
this is will be my first time in Indonesia
I like to get new experience of everything, such as food, music and meeting people for fun
the most funny thing I already bought a ticket and booked hotel there without any plan I just want to run away from my routine life
I chose Indonesia cuz I believed in Indonesia is such a good place for fun and relax that's why
mmm I guess that's all ;)
regards

Hi fff (can  call you that?)

I'm a British, so I started out going to bars to meet people, I like drinking, there are friendly people in the bars, they have live music, what's not to like...

As you're from the Emirates, then I guess you don't drink so much. But there are still good music bars, like Black Cat for Jazz, Jaya pub for old school R&B (It is old  school), Eastern Promise also has good bands at the weekends, there are lots of other bars and clubs with live music depending on what you like

Or join a sports or scuba diving club, it's great way to meet friends

And then there are the Expat.com gatherings (next one late Sept , more likely October sometime)

And Internations (another expat community) has monthly social evenings

Good luck! I'm sure you will meet nice people

sure you can call me that :) people call me that as well
that was helpful thanks my  friend
have a nice day

how do you pronounce fff? :)

I pronounce it like you ;)
in fact, f is the first latter of my real name and my father's name and also my grand father's name
that's why ppl call me fff or ff

OK :)

This implies that Sam is not a person.

If I changed my user name to SamOrang would you think I had multiple personalities?

I guess fff was Lucky his grandfather was not called Simon or Steve or something otherwise he would be known as ffs which would be amusing.

wow guys take it easy
and let's get back to my subject :)
thanks

so, you are free for fun from 5 to 11?

-b-

from 6-12 ;)

and after that?

I will be back home :(

Just saw this post... well there is another new guy here who is also looking for fun. You should chat him up and see what he's up for ;)

FFF sounds a bit better for me then fff though. People love to be complicated these days..

Anyways, goodluck. Doing some research before coming to Indonesia might be a better idea.

Chat him up and see what he is up for?

Whatever are you suggesting Annie?   This language is a little oo er missues

To be honest I thought it better not to ask ;)

Its just too funny I had to say it! :))
But anyways, two people with the same purpose, why not ? Lol.
Though meeting and do fun activities together (checking out the city) sounds better than doing it alone.

So the best of luck!!

this is the point
having fun must be with some 1 or with group of curse

Before someone makes the obvious comment...

I assume you mean "...with a group of course"

With a group curse would be a somewhat poetic way to explore Jakarta.

fff why don't you stop by Cazbar Friday evening, there is a band playing, I'll be there and the locals are friendly.

sounds awesome

"group of curse..."

he got me..

yeaaa, FFF....i'm a witch

:D
